On the system resources applet memory is grouped as User, Shared,
Buffers, Cache and Free. These terms are correct if rather jargony. The
System Monitor gnome app only shows the 'User' component of these.
Technically correct, but arguably confusing. The documentation
explaining this has now been updated.
