beware, there are still platforms supported by gnome which don't use PAM (last time I looked at slackware it didn't, for example), and I'd be very careful in the addition of gratuitous setuid executables, passwd is very tested and offers a quite similar CLI across all supported platforms Regards > > I agree about-me handles more user information.
