glib since version 2.6 has an option parser, GOption. But currently it's
not possible to use gnome_program_init() with GOption. Pawel Sliwowski
has provided patches for libgnome* and libbonobo* in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=307312 . Since API freeze is
in a few days and I think this is an important improvement, I'd like to
get this reviewed and checked in.
libgnome*/libbonobo* maintainers, can you please review / comment on
these patches?
