Let's get this in.  People love the Kiosk functionality in KDE, and we
are shamefully lacking in this area.

Also, you may want to point the Sun guys to Pessulus --- they are
documenting the high-level interfaces that need to remain stable in
GNOME (file paths, gconf keys, etc.), and Pessulus definitely knows
about those lockdown interfaces.
