Indeed, but it doesn't mention GtkUnique (i.e. there's no API proposal on there) Maybe gtk-devel is a more appropriate place to start than bugzilla, I don't know. But the point is, if nobody proposes the API for gtk and gets feedback on it from gtk maints then it's pretty much known it won't ever get in gtk!
