What does including it actually mean? What changes would be made to the current default layout? Which is more or less what I asked earlier http://mail.gnome.org/archives/desktop-devel-list/2006-October/msg00277.html (On a more minor note I'm unimpressed by the use of the term "Favorite Applications" since Gnome has otherwise avoided the word favourite in favour of Bookmarks, Launchers, etc., and on top of that it is a term which requires entirely British localisation which could be avoided by picking a better term. Just because I'm required to frequently use tax software for example does not make it anything remotely resembling a "Favorite Application" so the term is a patronising misnomer.) Slab seems quite a lot more useful when the search is enabled using Beagle but we wouldn't be getting Beagle so we need to be careful we are all making a fair evaluation of the same thing. I have a feeling that if/when we adopt slab or we need to actually need to turn it on and use it, and get buy-in from distributions a more consistent standard layout, but I'm repeating myself. -- Alan _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
