Couldn't find any perf. bugs but you asked :). I am not claiming that gnome-control-center shell is very slow on my laptop though. (subjective) Two runs of gnome-control-center on ubuntu (as of today) nothing was done to empty any cache form of cache or fixating cpu clock. http://www.cvt.dk/~frej/gcc-runs.tar.gz However i do provide two runs with subjective opinion on speed. run1: a bit slow a few minutes later (after poking around in sysprof) run2: a bit faster than run1 Extremely subjective ;) Couldn't find the relevant performance bug in bugzilla to attach this to, so spammed here instead. _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
