Matthias, I'd like to: 1) Mention that the tiff and jpeg loaders in 2.12 gdk-pixbuf now set the "orientation" option associated with the pixbuf based on the embedded tiff/exif orientation tag, so that client programs can orient the image correctly. 2) Plead for review of the related patches in these bugs: 439567 – Add functions to transform pixbufs based on orientation tags 440978 – respect orientation tag when generating thumbnails so that the next versions of gnome/nautilus/gtk/gthumb all agree on how to orient thumbnails. It's a conflicting mess right now. - Mike _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
