No. The 'login' keyring will become the default keyring if no such keyring exists. Additionally other keyrings have the option (upon unlocking, with the click of a checkbox) to slave their unlocking off of that of the 'login' keyring. It all sounds very complex, but all most users will ever see is a checkbox like: "Automatically unlock this on log in".
