We have been giving weekly updates to the release team and the gdm list: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/release-team/2008-January/msg00117.html http://mail.gnome.org/archives/release-team/2008-January/msg00131.html If you're interested you may join us on the gdm mailing list or #gdm on irc. All regressions in fast user switching should be fixed this week. First, we're making sure that the GDM greeter user selection works the way we want it to. Then we'll reuse much if not all of this code to make the fast-user-switch-applet work again. Some changes include only showing the most frequent users in the user list instead of all available users. There is a patch for gnome-panel in bugzilla: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=511881 Three of us are working full time to make sure GDM is in decent shape for 2.22. Still, we'd appreciate help. Thanks, Jon _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
