I am working on xesam-glib which at some point in the future would make a
solid corner stone in a "pervasive deskbar" technology for Gnome. I sent a
very rough outline of my ideas to the deskbar list in January[1]. If any
body else is moving in this direction please let me know (and possibly the
deskbar list too).

My progress is slow because I only have little time to devote to Xesam and
xesam-glib, but the pieces are slowly coming together.

Cheers,
Mikkel
