Would it be considered bad to use, say, Logic Pro to synthesise and sequence event sounds?
I mean, the more I think about it, the more I think not so. We don't have the source code to a Canon EOS but we will happily accept a photograph taken with it to be used. I would love to spend some time on a sound theme, but what we have in the free stack just isn't good enough IMO.
