Yes, gtk-sharp-2-12-branch is the stable and probably final 2.x branch for gtk-sharp. The trunk branch will target gtk 3.0 when it is released. The 2.12 branch should be used for future 2.x builds. trunk is still 2.x for gnome-sharp and gnome-desktop-sharp.
