Recently quite some 2.32-ish tarballs have been released. Some examples:
- Gvfs 1.6.5
- GConf 2.32.1
- gnome-disk-utility 2.32.1

These releases are all broken for people using a stable GNOME 2.32
desktop:
- Gvfs doesn't work correctly without a module added in glib 2.27 [1]
- GConf doesn't compile without glib 2.27.1 [2]
- gnome-disk-utility depending on an unreleased libnotify (0.6.1)
- libnotify 0.6 needs gtk3, I don't see a 0.6 branch in git, so I don't
expect 0.6.1 will make much sense either

All of these modules either don't have a gnome-2-32 branch, or don't
release stable versions from that branch. Gvfs doesn't have a 2.32
branch, but incompatible releases are released with a stable version
number from master. Gconf has a 2.32 branch, but the 2.32.1 release was
done from master. Gnome-disk-utility has no 2.32 branch, everything is
done on master.

Either these things get released as 2.33 tarballs to make clear that
they're not regular 2.32 updates, or they get fixed to compile AND WORK
on a stable 2.32 desktop.
