Okay, I see it's in gnome-control-center now (just appeared in the last release), but with static data. We also lost gnome-version.xml, which I think was used by other modules (at least bug-buddy and gnome-system-monitor). I think we still need to have one file telling the exact version of GNOME. Is this something we should ship in g-c-c too? Or I can add it back to gnome-desktop, since we're used to doing tarballs of this one just to bump the GNOME version anyway.
