It's not really hard to hook it into other places (it's just one call to a dbus method that triggers sushi to spawn) - as for the file chooser, I'd love to see the rest of its UI more streamlined like the current Nautilus before adding Sushi into the mix (and applications often already embed a preview widget into it, which could probably be made redundant with proper integration).
