Will try to summarize other things that came up in the discussion. 1) It will be possible to remove the shield by pressing Esc or just starting to type. 2) The pin is intended for devices where it would be easier to use a pin than a text entry, such as tablets. It will be possible to set up a pin through the Login Options in the User Accounts panel or during the initial setup. 3) Password hint should be shown after several failed login attempts. 4) The network menu options and the settings options under volume and power will be disabled. Most of these menus will be read-only. You will still be able to change the volume.
