So to wrap up this discussion.... The conclusion reached within #release-team is: 1. Orca's 3.5/3.6 branch will be based on Python 2. 2. Orca's master branch will continue to be based on Python 3. 3. I will definitely keep these branches in sync (shouldn't be too hard) and will likely do releases from both depending on what I hear from the Ubuntu folks. 4. I will propose a GNOME Goal for 3.8 regarding everyone migrating to Python 3.
