Here is what you need to do: * Get Boxes built from git repository (jhbuild[1] is your best bet!) * Once you have done that, try it out and if you can find bugs, please do file them. * If any of the bugs you filed are trivial (we can help you out in making that assertion), you want to dive into the code and submit fixes for these bugs. * If you don't find any trivial bugs yourself, see if you can find one from open bugs[2]. * if there is still nothing, we can help you find some trivial ones. At the same time you want to prepare a good proposal with a concrete plan of action. You'll probably get into problems with jhbuild and will have specific questions. There is IRC channel and mailing-list where you can contact us for help[3]. Please keep in mind that most of us are in Europe/US so timezone might be an issue. Just saying that please be patient if you don't get replies in time. -- Regards, Zeeshan Ali (Khattak) FSF member#5124 [1] http://live.gnome.org/Jhbuild [2]https://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?emailassigned_to1=1;query_format=advanced;bug_status=UNCONFIRMED;bug_status=NEW;bug_status=ASSIGNED;bug_status=REOPENED;email1=gnome-boxes-maint;product=gnome-boxes;classification=Applications;emailtype1=substring [3]https://live.gnome.org/Boxes/#Mailing_List_and_IRC _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
