Please let me know if there's a more appropriate list to post this on, but from examining the list of options this seemed like the most appropriate one.
I just upgraded my ThinkPad T60 from CentOS 6 to Fedora 19 and whenever I connect it to the dock with a second VGA monitor connected to the dock, gnome_shell crashes. This worked fine under CentOS 6 and the keyboard and mouse continue to work, but I can't do anything with the shell. Here's the output from /var/log/messages: Jul 18 19:45:40 JohansenDev /etc/gdm/Xsession[3032]: (gnome-settings-daemon:3216): GnomeDesktop-CRITICAL **: gnome_rr_output_info_get_geometry: assertion `GNOME_IS_RR_OUTPUT_INFO (self)' failed Jul 18 19:45:40 JohansenDev /etc/gdm/Xsession[3032]: (gnome-settings-daemon:3216): GnomeDesktop-CRITICAL **: gnome_rr_output_info_get_geometry: assertion `GNOME_IS_RR_OUTPUT_INFO (self)' failed Jul 18 19:45:40 JohansenDev colord: Automatic metadata add icc-8ec937e2cd9af82dc9f9e0a28afe53c4 to xrandr-Dell Inc.-DELL E198WFP-RW19581I4TES Jul 18 19:45:40 JohansenDev colord: Device added: xrandr-Dell Inc.-DELL E198WFP-RW19581I4TES Jul 18 19:45:42 JohansenDev kernel: [ 3565.529699] gnome-shell[3273]: segfault at 0 ip b71083a5 sp bfe8d8a0 error 4 in libdricore9.2.0-devel.so.1.0.0[b6f51000+3c8000] Jul 18 19:45:46 JohansenDev abrtd: Directory 'ccpp-2013-07-18-19:45:42-3273' creation detected Jul 18 19:45:46 JohansenDev abrt[3769]: Saved core dump of pid 3273 (/usr/bin/gnome-shell) to /var/tmp/abrt/ccpp-2013-07-18-19:45:42-3273 (191787008 bytes) Jul 18 19:45:47 JohansenDev /etc/gdm/Xsession[3032]: gnome-session[3032]: WARNING: Application 'gnome-shell.desktop' killed by signal 11 Jul 18 19:45:47 JohansenDev gnome-session[3032]: WARNING: Application 'gnome-shell.desktop' killed by signal 11 And the crash report can be found here: https://retrace.fedoraproject.org/faf/reports/142339/ I've posted on the Fedora users mailing list, but no luck so far: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/users/2013-July/437813.html Any advice on things I can do to help diagnose/fix this problem?
