Hi Yashi,

It looks like the project you’ve chosen is Builder[1], from the SoC 2016 ideas 
page[2]. Builder is an multilanguage IDE for GNOME.

I’d recommend you start by having a look at the Builder project website, 
especially the Contribute[3] section, which helpfully links to a list of 
“newcomer bugs”. Browse some of those to get a feel for the project codebase 
(and try to fix — the GSoC programme suggests you should contribute code before 
or during your application).

Beyond that, I’m sure Christian will be able to point you in the right 
direction.
