I would suggest that you look for a Linux User group in your area. If you
contact them and ask for help they may have someone who will help you work
through your issues either in person or over a mailing list. You can also
ask for help with other issues you may encounter as a Linux new user.
Another option is to search for your issues on the Ubuntu forums (
https://askubuntu.com/ or https://ubuntuforums.org/) and see if you can
find answers that way.
