CC=/opt/SUNWspro/bin/cc CXX=/opt/SUNWspro/bin/CC has solved the problem of building eclipse. I am now able to run eclipse (albeit minimal, e.g. no web plugins etc.). Many thanks to all those that replied. Rob Buick This message posted from opensolaris.org
