Looks like gtk-window-decorator isn't starting for some reason.
I suspect it is due to the Solaris build (64) you are using, you might
be missing some libraries.
Can you try :
ldd /usr/bin/gtk-window-decorator
and post the output of gtk-window-decorator --replace
To switch back to normal JDS/gnome you can try from the command line :
gnome-session-remove compiz &
metacity --replace &
