desktop-discuss at opensolaris.org would be the appropriate place for this discussion. I would ask one question though, does RedHat, SuSE, Ubuntu etc distribution only the orginal GNOME ? I don't believe they do so why would that be correct for Solaris. The license of GNOME allows people do to this. By their very nature all UNIX like systems are different and sometimes these differences need to appear as far up the stack as GNOME. -- Darren J Moffat
