Hi Stephen, Is the package SUNWgnome-python-extras installed on your OpenSolaris box? I remember there seems to be a dependency issue recently which causes package manager failure.
As for NWAM, I have a similar problem that my wireless(wpi) will disconnect from the network occasionally. I can connect back manually. It seems to be a driver bug.
