I just encountered my first ooxml file while helping out with a
student's project (the school has Vista and everyone there was surprised
by incompatibility issues. Their web servers wouldn't even serve .pptx
files! ) In any case, I'm now encountering the problem that the
OpenOffice 2.x available for OS2008.05 doesn't have a filter for OOXML.
Are there any plans to ship OpenOffice 3 or the odf-converter-integrator
(http://katana.oooninja.com/w/odf-converter-integrator/download) which
understands ooxml?
