I just did an image-update to build 100 and attempted to enable the Time Slider feature. I did this at some point yesterday by toggling the "Enable Time Slider" option in the "Time Slider Setup" administration dialog. This morning, I still have no snapshots to look at when I bring up Nautilus. I can press the red life-preserver, but the slider only allows me to look at "Now".
I find this strange, since the following SMF services are enabled: seb:~$ svcs -a | grep snapshot disabled 22:22:55 svc:/system/filesystem/zfs/auto-snapshot:default online 22:23:06 svc:/system/filesystem/zfs/auto-snapshot:monthly online 22:23:06 svc:/system/filesystem/zfs/auto-snapshot:frequent online 22:23:07 svc:/system/filesystem/zfs/auto-snapshot:hourly online 22:23:08 svc:/system/filesystem/zfs/auto-snapshot:daily online 22:23:10 svc:/system/filesystem/zfs/auto-snapshot:weekly No snapshots related to these services exist when I use "zfs list -t snapshot". Is this meant to be ready for use in this build? What is the administrative model for this feature? -Seb
