As far as I know info on running E on OpenSolaris is scarce to nonexistent. Older E17 snapshots built out of the box with gcc but recent svn is another matter. The developers have been making some major changes to E. I've been waiting for things to settle down a bit before I try to build another snapshot. Last time I tried, looked like major patching would be needed to build it...things are really in a lot of flux at E for the moment (I'm on the developer mailing list). I do have spec files for an older snapshot of E17 the E community had posted. I'll see if those snap shots are still posted, if they are I'll check over/clean-up those spec files and commit those to SFE. At least that way people can build a relative recent E17 to try out. Don't know if blastwave has packages. E16 spec-file, I believe, is already in SFE. ~Mike
