open the compiz settings.. look for the resize plugin Change the default resize mode to rectangle or outline.. There's other nvidia tweaks you can do to get more performance, but ymmv.. afaik. that bug should just be closed as a problem upstream and a FAQ made.. Not to mention doing what ubuntu (and every other sane linux vendor) does and change the default as I mentioned above ./C
