Ok, I saw the bug but when I boot to Fedora 10 (Cambridge), under System, 
Preferences, Personal, Sessions, the second tab does have that feature.  The 
version of Gnome is listed as 2.24.2.  Just a FYI.

That's what I get for switching between OpenSolaris and SXCE, I forgot about 
the search option.
