I have not been doing any printing job from Solaris Express for quite some time. There were some glitches, but I always managed to get the print jobs done.
Recently, however, when I wanted to print something from a machine, which happened to have SX 69 installed, I was not able to set up a printer. (I used Administration -> Printer Manager, then entered all the parameters I used to have some success before, but no printing this time. However, I was able to see the print job on the print queue.) So I turned off the printer (HP 1012, USB), then turned it on. SX 69 correctly recognized the printer make and model, and identified its device as /dev/printers/1. I hit the OK key, but received the following error message: "failed to connected" Can anyone show me where I can find info to correctly set up a printer? Thanks.
