Good question. I have some problems with StarOffice8 when running under Chinese locale, see: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=31417&tstart=0 These problems were solved in the Linux version of OpenOffice.org 2.2, and I wanted to see whether the Solaris version of OOo 2.2 is different from SO8. No difference, as far as these problems go. Another reason I may want to run OOo 2.2 as opposed to SO8 is that I can run CJK language packs on the former, but not the latter. In order to have CJK GUI, I need to also install StarSuite 8. Someone please tell me if I am wrong on this. Thanks. This message posted from opensolaris.org
