i have SXDE 2nd edition (snv_64a), and want to rip some audio cds.
I'm trying to use Sound Juicer from JDS, but it fail with:
"Sound Juicer could not access the CD-ROM device '/dev/rdsk/c3t0d0s2'
Reason: Permission denied"
On other hand, if i'm using jRipper (a good java product, doesn't JDS
stand for Java?), it works like a charm, detecting itself the right
device to use (by mean of cdrecord)
in the man pages of cdrw, there is:

The cdrw command uses rbac(5) to control user access to the
devices. By default, cdrw is accessible to all users but can
be restricted to individual users. Refer to the for more
information.
"
but
yakari-henry% cdrw -M
Volume manager is not running.
Please start volume manager or run cdrw as root to access all devices.
What's the truth?
