Oh, I expect they will. But not everything is supported to the same degree at the same time on both x86 and SPARC, and I've had less than great luck with (for example) OSS, and 1394 drives on SPARC thus far. So rather than staying really bleeding edge, I'd just as soon hear of some reports of successful testing or use on SPARC before I go and update everything and try again. So it's great if all of this stuff _will_ work equally well on both; but for any given piece, it'd be nice to know when it actually _does_. This message posted from opensolaris.org
