I doing something similar for compiz-0.5.0 just finished porting and
fixing
my previous patches.
I'll publish everything on
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/desktop/communities/compiz/
and http://pkgbuild.sourceforge.net/spec-files-extra/ in 1 or 2 days.
Maybe we can coordinate our work next time to avoid duplication.
