For whatever reason, that's working fine now. Also, with Xv off in the video tab of gstreamer-preferences (for it to work at all under VirtualBox) rhythmbox is reasonably glitch-free; still a bit sensitive to other system activity, but much less so than songbird. So the audio situation under VirtualBox is looking quite positive to me. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
