Bernd, Just curios, what window manager are you running ? Compiz or metacity ?
Is the window manager still running ? e.g. for thunderbird window can you select the title bar (via left click and hold down mouse) and drag window around desktop ? If not sounds like your window manager has died and needs to be restarted, check $HOME for a core file aswell. cheers Matt Bernd Schemmer wrote: > Hi, > > I'm running OpenSolaris 06.2009 > > xtrnaw7 at t61p:~$ uname -a > SunOS t61p 5.11 snv_111a i86pc i386 i86pc > > and until recently it worked perfectly. > > But since some hours I can not select a window with the mouse by > left-clicking in the window anymore -- I must left-click on the title bar to > activate a window. > > But not for all programs: I can activate Thunderbird by left-clicking in any > part of it's window.
