Don't know of any plan to port Google Chrome/Safari on OpenSolaris from
the team. People who are interested in the community might want to take
the initiative and maybe create a project for the porting efforts.

BTW, both Google Chrome and Safari should depend on WebKit for rendering
as I know. For those who are interested, WebKit will be integrated into
OpenSolaris (depends on libstdcxx's integration currently).

As for the performance, is there any data that could be shared? Here is
one about the memory footprint for Firefox 3.5/Chrome/Safari/Opera that
