Hi, There: It seems that most popular Thunderbird's extensions only deliver one version which doesn't differentiate architectures. But lightning-wcap doesn't:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/releases/0.7/contrib/solaris/ The problem is that when I switch between a sparc server and a x86 server using my NIS account, I get different layout if I don't reinstall the extension with the right version. It is not a good user experience, I think, at least for users like me working in a hybrid environment. To illustrate the problem I attached 3 pictures. When I installed the lightning-wcap for sparc and opened Thunderbird on sparc hosts the display is like sparc.png. While on X86 hosts, without reinstall the extension, I will get something like x86-1.png and x86-2.png, where the misplaced layout is even not changeable. Could anyone explain if this is a expected behavior or just a bug? Thanks! Funix This message posted from opensolaris.org -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
