I think the memory is the main thing, 1 G isn't a lot with running the 
GNOME desktop and the Sun ray server software.
graphics card definitely not a problem in this case given than the 
graphics card is on 2FS itself.
CPU can help but I don't think it is such a big difference in this case.

Also network hub is important, make sure her setup is not with a 10Mbit hub.
