No, but IMHO we probably ought to allow the user to choose at install time what sort of system they're installing on, so we can choose an appropriate configuration (and not just for the desktop)... Regardless of that issue, it's probably worth saying that I'd consider the UI spec in progress to have the laptop user in mind.
