Much better ? Did you ever compare the monocrome output for HG
GothicB&co. when rasterized by the BitStream engine vs. FreeType2 engine
? Did you ever notice what FreeType2 does with the Hindi glyphs in
Solaris ? xx@@@xx@@!!!!

Huh ? The FreeType2 TTF bytecode interpreter is disabled at compile
time, not runtime. And a runtime option is AFAIK not a good idea either
- it gives the opensource font authors the excuse for creating faulty
fonts and then getting away with this xx@@@!!! by telling users to turn
off the bytecode interpreter as "workaround" (and "yes" ... I am very
unhappy about this. We had this discussion three years ago and the
situation has IMO become worse since then... ;-( ).
