I thought I have been able to completely do away with Windows, thus, when a post came out about installing WINE in Solaris I failed to pay due attention. Now I couldn't even find that thread.
Many professional associations publish their info on CD/DVDs. However, in order to read these CDs, you have to run a setup.exe program, which is operable only in Windows. Instead of (or in addition to) fighting them, perhaps I should try to run this program in Solaris under WINE. Does anyone have any successful stories in installing and running WINE in Solaris and/or Solaris Express? Thanks. This message posted from opensolaris.org
