Hi, I compiled and installed alsa-lib, alsa-plugins and alsa-utils with all patches from SFE. The build looks good. But after that, making some tries :
alsamixer : function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device speaker-test : ALSA lib conf.c:3510:(_snd_config_evaluate) function snd_func_card_driver returned error: No such device and a lot similars. Of course i have a fine working latest oss installation, the oss plugin in alsa-lib as well. Other hand my chip is a simple VIA8237, i know that ALSA recognizes it under Linux. For these reasons, i suspect that someother is wrong in my alsa config. Has yet someone any experience about this kind of issues with the ALSA usage on Solaris (Sol10x86-64 U2 for me) ?
