Heh.  ATI approved my request to release a radeonfb driver for NetBSD,
which had some heretofore unreleased information ("BIOS parser", which
lets you initialize undocumented registers on a board on systems without
BIOS or Fcode to do it for you).  It took a few months to get the
approval thru.

(Unfortunately, my NetBSD driver won't help, because it doesn't have
anything about the x1*00 series.)
