Based on Tamarack experiences, I'd like to suggest a few things.

1. The blank disc insertion popup
(http://tamarack.sfbay/images/jds4-nautilus.jpg) is off by default. I suggest to
enable it by default (http://tamarack.sfbay/images/jds4-prefs-storage.jpg). I
think that's the least surprise setting - Ubuntu and others has been doing this
for a while.

2. Now that HAL can recognize portable music players, we should probably
autolaunch Rhythmbox like we already launch sound-juicer and totem for audio and
video media (http://tamarack.sfbay/images/jds4-prefs-multimedia.jpg)

3. Rhythmbox works fairly well with libgpod
(http://tamarack.sfbay/images/jds4-rhythmbox-ipod.jpg). iPod support would add
to the coolness factor. I think it's worth the effort to at least submit it for
opensource review and see what the lawyers say. If Linux distros ship it, so can
we (*especially we* - considering Apple's use of DTrace and ZFS :).

-Artem.
