Not sure anyone has replied to this, but it's a known bug. We didn't 
want to push out a fix for this in our latest release since it's a build 
issue that would effect quite a number of modules. We'll definitely be 
fixing it next time around.

For reference, the bug number is #6371029 'gconf schema install is 
broken with merged tree'.
