The GNOME 2.12.x packages on my personal page are for Solaris x86, yet the current CSW GNOME 2.8 provides you with SPARCv8 and x86 binaries. Just do the standard 'pkg-get -i gnome' and you'll get the right version for our platform. Philip Brown and Dennis Clarke can help you on the Blastwave.org infrastructure.
