Fluendo also sells licensed plugins for playing most media files on Solaris: AVI, WindowsMedia, MPEG2, MPEG4, MP3 audio. http://shop.fluendo.com/ Note that non-free operating systems such as Windows and MacOS bundle the cost of the media plugins with the base cost of the OS. On Solaris, the base OS is free, so the licensing fees to play media files has to be paid separately. Also note that Fluendo plans to have a licensed DVD player available for Solaris available for sale in the near future. Brian
